Badou VS Noel accelerate for Cruise Control

WBC cruiserweight champion in recess, Noel Mikaelian, will challenge champion Badou Jack on the Canelo Vs Scull bill.

Mikaelian won the WBC cruiserweight title in 2023 when he knocked out Ilunga Makabu in the third round. However, due to contractual issues, he was named champion in recess at the last WBC Convention, in Hamburg, Germany.
On that same date, Badou was reinstated as WBC world champion.

Noel Mikaelian enters the fight with a professional record of 27-2 with 12 KOs.
Badou Jack, who has not fought since 2023, holds a record of 28-3-3 with 17 KOs.
Both fighters passed the weigh-in on Friday. Jack weighed 200 pounds, while Mikaelian was 198.1 pounds.
